We were lucky enough to be invited to Carters Steam Fair this week. We went last year and had a brilliant time so jumped at the chance to go again!
Once again we had beautiful weather. This time we opted to go to Prospect Park in Reading where Carters is visiting over the whole of Easter weekend (including a free firework display on the Saturday night!)
I took just Matthew and Anya with me and this allowed us to go on some of the more daredevil rides. We started with their favourite from last year: the chair swing ride known as the Chairoplane.
Then we went on the Gallopers, Jungle Thriller Ark, Steam Yachts, Swing boats and Whirl around Twist.
We finished with another go on the Chairoplane followed by playing hook a duck and getting candy floss.
*We were given complimentary rides but there was no expectation on me to write a blog post
